BEL gains 1% after securing ₹648 crore additional orders

BEL shares gained nearly 1% to ₹398.75 after the defence PSU secured additional orders worth ₹648 crore, including laser-based IR jammers, communication equipment, cybersecurity solutions, thermal imagers and AI-based software. BEL's order book stood at ₹72,258 crore as of July 1, while Q1 revenue rose 25% YoY.
