Bharat Electronics shares rose 2% after the Navratna PSU secured fresh defence orders worth ₹596 crore for drone detection, communication systems, software upgrades and spares. The new contracts lifted BEL's order book beyond ₹75,600 crore. The stock hit an intraday high of ₹424.50.
