Belarus Prez re-elected with 80% of votes; protesters allege rigging

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has been re-elected for a sixth term after winning 80% of the votes in the presidential election, the Central Election Commission said on Monday. However, thousands of people protested against the result of the election, alleging it to be rigged. Opposition candidate Svetlana Tikhanouskaya, who won 9.9% of the vote, has rejected the result.
