Beltangady man arrested over alleged caste abuse

A man was arrested after allegedly trespassing onto agricultural land, caste-abusing a Scheduled Caste woman, issuing death threats and damaging crops and fencing in Beltangady taluk. The alleged incident occurred within the Venoor police station limits, with the complainant estimating the property damage at around ₹1.30 lakh.
