West Bengal government has filed an application to recall the order by Calcutta High Court, where it asked the NHRC to constitute a committee to examine post-poll violence in the state. Stating that not all incidents of violence can be categorised as "post-poll violence", the government further said that some of the allegations "are frivolous and politically motivated".
