A Canara Bank senior manager in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, allegedly defrauded 21 customers of ₹3 crore by taking loans in their names without pledging gold. The fraud surfaced during an internal audit, after which the manager, Raghu, fled. A case has been registered at the Malleshwaram police station, and a manhunt is underway to recover the misappropriated funds.
