Bengaluru begins demolition of 18-storey building in Kudlu

Demolition of an 18-storey residential building at SNN Raj’s E-Block in Kudlu, Bengaluru, began on August 28 over safety concerns. The 49-apartment building, valued at around ₹200 crore, was found to be tilting. Authorities opted for controlled demolition due to its proximity to a school with more than 1,000 students. The construction firm agreed to the demolition.
