Bengaluru will enhance its power generation with the inauguration of the Bidadi waste-to-electricity plant and the Yelahanka Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) in July. The Bidadi plant, generating 11.5 MW from 600 tones of dry waste, is a ₹260 crore project by KPCL and BBMP. This initiative aims to reduce landfill pressure and improve waste management.
