Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway, one of South India’s biggest road projects, this dream is now inching closer to reality. The new expressway is 262 km long and is being built at a massive cost of ₹15,188 crore. It will cut down the travel distance by 80 km. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari recently confirmed that the new target is July 2026.
