The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted that Bengaluru could be hotter than Delhi in the coming weeks, with an early onset of summer by mid-February. The temperature in Bengaluru has already risen by 2.7 degree centigrade since last year, while Delhi remains within expected seasonal ranges.
