A couple in Bengaluru asked their guests to give them cryptocurrency Bitcoin as presents for their wedding. Prashant Sharma and Niti Shree, who are founders of a digital start-up, received Bitcoin worth around ₹1 lakh as only 15 of the 200 guests gave them traditional gifts. "We thought of merging technology with gifting for the future," said the husband.
