Vikram Vaidyanathan, MD of venture capital firm Matrix Partners India (now Z47), returned from a France holiday with his wife only to find ornaments worth ₹60 lakh missing from their Bengaluru house. Police noticed that a mangalya chain wasn't stolen and suspected the thief was a woman. A female domestic help working at the house admitted to the theft.
