A man was arrested in Bengaluru for attempting to exchange fake ₹2000 notes at an RBI branch. Officials detected the counterfeit currency during verification and alerted police. Around ₹7.5 lakh worth of fake notes were seized. Police suspect a larger racket and have launched an investigation to trace the source and identify others involved.
