A 23-year-old woman, Ranjitha HG, was allegedly murdered by her live-in partner Ayyappa KB in Bengaluru's Ramdas Layout. Police said the accused strangled her with a wire and tried to stage the crime as suicide. Suspicion from the victim's family prompted an investigation that exposed the plot. Ayyappa has been arrested and booked under murder and SC/ST Act charges.
