Government-owned REC Limited on Saturday approved a proposal to provide Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation with funding of ₹3,045 crore. This will help the corporation to develop its Phase-II project, which includes establishing two new lines from RV Road to Bommasandra and Kalena Agrahara to Nagawara. It also involves the extension of two corridors of Phase-I.
