The Centre has approved the Bengaluru Metro's Phase 2A and 2B, which comprises two corridors of a total length of 58.19 km. Phase 2A will connect Central Silk Board Junction to KR Puram and Phase 2B will link KR Puram to the International Airport via Hebbal Junction. BJP leader Tejasvi Surya thanked PM Narendra Modi for approving the project.
