Bengaluru mourns Veena Stores founder’s death

Bengaluru is mourning Suryanarayana Hegde, the founder of iconic Veena Stores in Malleswaram. Started in 1977 as a small condiment shop, it grew into a beloved South Indian eatery known for its idli-vada, shavige bath and kharabath. Deepika Padukone, who has a long-standing connection with the eatery, also paid tribute to the late founder.
