Bengaluru parking may cost car owners ₹25,000 annually

Bengaluru's draft parking policy proposes annual residential parking fees of up to ₹25,000 for SUVs. The Greater Bengaluru Authority also plans hourly charges for on-street and off-street parking based on road categories. Parking could be banned near Metro stations, major roads and junctions. The policy is currently in draft form and may be revised before final implementation.
