Bengaluru plans 28-km elevated corridor to cut travel time

Bengaluru is planning a 28-km elevated corridor connecting Yeshwanthpur to KR Puram, passing through key areas including IISc, Mekhri Circle, Jayamahal and Halasuru Lake. The toll-based project is expected to cost around ₹3,500 crore and aims to reduce travel time between Yeshwanthpur and KR Puram from around 90 minutes to 28-30 minutes.
