Bengaluru plans biogas from 3,000 tonnes of wet waste

Bengaluru plans to produce biogas from up to 3,000 metric tonnes of wet waste daily as part of its waste management strategy. New biogas plants and upgraded facilities are being developed across the city. Officials say the initiative will convert organic waste into Bio-CNG, reduce landfill burden and promote clean energy for households, hotels and public facilities.
