A head constable attached to Bengaluru's Sanjaynagar police station was assaulted by a group of youths near Gangammanagudi Circle on Tuesday. The assault took place after a woman accused him of behaving inappropriately inside a BMTC bus and alerted her relatives. Police registered cross-complaints from both sides and launched an investigation into the matter, reports stated.
