Heavy rainfall lashed Bengaluru on Wednesday, flooding The Bookworm, an iconic bookstore in Church Street. Around 5,000 books worth ₹14 lakh have been destroyed due to the heavy rains, according to The Times Of India. Bengaluru recorded its highest April rainfall on April 29 (Wednesday).
