Bengaluru has seen a notable drop in dengue cases this monsoon, with numbers far lower than last year’s alarming spike. According to BBMP data, the city reported 564 cases in July and 233 cases in August so far, compared to 5,172 and 3,004 cases during the same months in 2024. Mahadevapura registered the highest number this year at 798 cases.
