Bengaluru reported 287 new cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 on Monday, Karnataka Minister Sudhakar K said. With this, the number of Omicron cases in the state has reached 766, he added. Karnataka on Sunday registered a huge spike after reporting 34,047 new COVID-19 cases, of which 21,071 cases were reported in Bengaluru alone.
