Bengaluru's Vidhana Metro Station to remain closed on August 15

Bengaluru's Dr B.R. Ambedkar-Vidhana Soudha Metro Station will remain closed during specified hours on August 15 for Independence Day 2026 celebrations. Metro trains will pass through without stopping during the closure. Commuters can use Cubbon Park and Sir M. Visvesvaraya-Central College metro stations instead. BMRCL will also operate additional trains as required to manage the passenger rush.
