A Bengaluru school has installed biotoilets in two buses serving its longest routes to help children avoid discomfort and health issues during over two-hour commutes. The ₹5 lakh-per-bus initiative has received positive feedback from parents. The toilets use bacteria-based decomposition systems and could be extended to more routes if the pilot project proves successful.
