Bengaluru techie loses ₹1.9 crore in Facebook trading scam

A 47-year-old Bengaluru techie allegedly lost ₹1.9 crore after a Facebook ad led him to the fake trading platform 'Proxtrend'. He transferred substantial amounts over several months but was unable to withdraw his funds. He was allegedly asked to arrange additional money to release them. Cybercrime police are now trying to trace and freeze the transferred funds.
