Bengaluru is set to surpass the national capital region in terms of temperature this year, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted. Over the past year, Bengaluru's temperature has risen by 2.7 degrees Celsius. On February 17, Bengaluru recorded a maximum temperature of 35.9°C while Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 29°C on the same day.
