Bengaluru woman held at knifepoint in chain-snatching bid

A woman was held hostage at knifepoint during a chain-snatching attempt at a shoe and bag repair shop in Bengaluru's Indiranagar on October 31. The accused, Prabhuraj alias Raj, allegedly glued her hands to a table with Fevikwik before snatching her gold mangalya chain. Alert locals overpowered him and handed him over to the police. The woman was rescued unharmed.
