Bengaluru-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Exotel has fired 80 employees. As per its CEO Shivakumar Ganesan, 45 employees were laid off due to performance reasons, while rest of the employees were laid off due to business restructuring. The employees who were fired due to performance issues were offered no severance pay, the company's official statement said.
