The city of Berlin has issued an apology to a brothel and paid €250,000 (over ₹2.2 crore) in compensation over a police raid in 2016. Several people were detained on suspicion of human trafficking, tax evasion and other violations when police raided the Artemis sauna and brothel. The brothel operators filed lawsuits after prosecutors couldn't prove their accusations.
