English actress Olivia Colman, who won the Best Actress Oscar today for 'The Favourite', has a Bihar connection. Her great-great-great-grandmother, Harriot Bazett, was born in Bihar's Kishanganj in 1807. When Olivia travelled to India, she said, "I thought there's nobody exotic in my family...I was so wrong." Olivia was told that Harriot's mother wasn't British and "very probably" a local.
