The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) launched its premium point-to-point bus service from Thane to Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) today. The fleet consists of four air-conditioned (AC), zero-emission electric buses, also known as "BEST Chalo Bus" which are dark blue in colour. The launch reportedly makes Mumbai India's first city to have an all-electric premium city bus service.
