Sleeping on your left side is best for digestion, say experts, as it aids natural food movement and prevents acid reflux. Right-side sleeping can worsen reflux, back sleeping is neutral but may need head elevation. Stomach sleeping is least recommended, causing pressure on digestive organs. Doctors also advise maintaining a gap after meals and elevating your head to optimise digestion.
