Karnataka BJP alleged that Congress-led state government has reserved ₹100 crores for development of Urdu language and ₹32 crores for Kannada language. "Another great betrayal to Kannadigas by Urdu-loving Siddaramaiah," BJP's Karnataka unit posted on X. BJP accused Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah of being indifferent to Kannada language and asked him if Tulu and Konkani weren't languages of the state.
