Plant-based meat products firm, Beyond Meat dropped "meat" from its branding in a pivot to protein-based drinks to attract health-conscious consumers. The move aligns with trends seen in major companies which are adding probiotic and energy drinks. Despite the strategic shift to "Beyond The Plant Protein Co," their shares fell nearly 18%.
