Beyond Meat's Pennsylvania factory was riddled with mold, bacteria and other food-safety issues, Bloomberg reported citing internal documents. As per the report, the plant's products tested positive for Listeria, a harmful bacteria, on at least 11 occasions during July 2021-June 2022. Photos from January and April showed apparent spills, unsafe use of equipment and mold on ingredient containers.
