Karnataka Education Minister BC Nagesh said that the government will introduce the Bhagavad Gita in state-run schools from December. He added that the Gita was 'not a religious book' as it did not promote any religious practices as the Quran did. Nagesh further said that the Gita was a moral book and that it inspires students.
