Bharat Coking Coal jumps 8% after coking coal price hike

Bharat Coking Coal shares surged 7.6% to ₹33.48 on Wednesday after its board approved price increases of 0.1% to 14% across certain raw coking coal grades for the non-regulated sector. The revision covers steel, direct feed and washery grades. The Coal India subsidiary also reported a 20.7% YoY rise in September raw coal production to 2.57 million tonnes.
