Bharti Airtel completed the acquisition of a 16.3% stake in Airtel Africa from ICIL, increasing its effective holding to approximately 79%. As part of the transaction, the company allotted 14,67,61,335 equity shares to ICIL through a share swap. Following the deal, ICIL now holds about 3.25% of Bharti Airtel's equity capital.
