Bharti Airtel is set to raise ₹3,000 crore in short-term debt to make the initial payment for the 5G airwaves it bought in the recently concluded auction, according to reports. Commercial papers, with maturities up to 12 months, are reportedly being sold by Airtel. SBI Mutual Fund is believed to have agreed to buy over ₹1,000 crore of Airtel's debt.
