Mobile tower firm Bharti Infratel is set to buy back shares worth ₹2,000 crore from shareholders, in an effort to return surplus funds back to shareholders, the company announced on Tuesday. Bharti Infratel is the independent telecom infrastructure company of Bharti (which also owns Bharti Airtel), and has over 35,000 towers across 18 states and 11 telecom circles in India.
