Bharti Global-backed satellite company OneWeb on Tuesday announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with France's Eutelsat to merge the companies in an all-share transaction. The transaction will value OneWeb at $3.4 billion. The company said that Eutelsat will add its fleet of 36 geostationary orbit (GEO) satellites to OneWeb's constellation of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites.
