Bhatkal under tight security after mosque pelted with stones

Security has been beefed up in Karnataka’s Bhatkal Town after a mosque and madrassa were allegedly pelted with stones during a Ganesha idol procession on the night of Wednesday, 16 September. Windowpanes of the buildings were damaged in the incident, complainants Abdul Alim and Sahul Amin Gawai said. They demanded legal action against those responsible for the stone pelting.
