Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a PSU in power, defense, and aerospace sectors, rose to an intraday high of ₹222.20 after securing a ₹2,600 crore contract. The contract from MB Power includes supplying Boiler, Turbine, and Generator equipment for the 1x800 MW Anuppur Thermal Power Project in Madhya Pradesh.
