A family court in Bhopal handled an unusual divorce case in which a woman reportedly 'traded' her husband to his 12 years elder girlfriend for ₹1.5 crore. Instead of seeking alimony from him, she demanded a settlement from the girlfriend. Citing ongoing disputes caused by the affair, she sought divorce. The court ruled in her favour and dissolved the marriage.
