The Bhutan government on Tuesday said that it would impose a nationwide lockdown for seven days, starting from Wednesday, to curb the spread of coronavirus. During the lockdown period, only designated shops within the zones and essential services will be allowed to function, the government added. All schools, institutions, offices and business establishments will remain closed.
