Bhutan's lower house of parliament decriminalises homosexuality

Bhutan's lower house of parliament has voted to scrap laws that criminalise homosexual relations. However, the upper house of Bhutan's parliament still needs to repeal the penal code for homosexuality to be decriminalised in the country. Last month, Taiwan became the first Asian territory to legalise same-sex marriage.
