The Tiger's Nest Monastery, located in Bhutan, is a collection of buildings on a cliff 900 meters off the ground at Paro Valley at a height of 10,240 feet. It was constructed in 1692 around the Taktsang Senge Samdup cave. The interior of the monastery features golden ceilings, thousand Buddhas carved on a rock and statue of a large tiger.
