Bhuvneshwar Kumar returns to India's playing XI after 1,425 days

Fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has returned to India's playing XI after 1,425 days, featuring in the series-deciding fifth T20I against West Indies in Bengaluru on Saturday. The 36-year-old last represented India on November 22, 2022, against New Zealand in Napier. He was recalled to the squad after Arshdeep Singh suffered a shoulder injury during the fourth T20I in Hyderabad.
